First, Filter Magazine turned vinyl records into tattoo ink. Now it’s Indian Motorcycle’s turn to make ink out of an original material, using the slogan: “if riding is in your blood, prove it.” The burnout of the motorcross legent Carey Hart was turned into ink. Using carbon that was extracted from the burnout that Hart performed on his Indian Scout Hooligan racing bike. Diehard fans can get tattooed with this rare ink by a few participating tattoo artists. ¬†Carey himself also got a tattoo himself, his son’s name was tattooed on his shoulder using the ink, because “riding is in his DNA.”
