Yesterday evening, Dutch news show “Hart van Nederland” announced that the strange traffic signs with a hunter and a cat, which emerged in several cities last week, were an action of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. They are part of a bigger protest against the hunting on cats: each year, between 8,000 and 13,500 stray cats are shot off.
