27 million people (of whom 80% women) in 161 countries around the world still live in slavery. The movement END IT is one of the many organizations that seek to sensitize people on this age-old problem. They did this in quite an impressive way: a truck with transparent walls went through Atlanta transporting women enslaved and beaten, making a symbolic journey.
