In China, a lot of babies become orphans after an earthquake. They cannot enter a new family, because people don’t know much about the adoption process. The Bureau of Civil Affairs printed a picture of a baby at the back of a t-shirt, and distributed the t-shirts and made their staff wear the t-shirts. This special form of Visual Media and interpersonal communication resulted in a lot of attention by the public, and more specific target groups.
