Illuminating bicycle paths. Studio Roosegaarde must have thought that this can be more sustainable and more beautiful. That’s why artist Daan Roosegaarde, in cooperation with construction company Heijmans, created a 600 m long bike path in Eindhoven with a unique design consisting of thousands of glittering rhinestones. With the rhinestones not only patterns are created; but they’re also charged during the day so that they give light at night.
