With the latest version of the Timera app, you can make your own then-and-now compositions easily with your smart phones. Timera, a free app available on iOS and Android, contains a huge user-generated database filled with geotagged historical images. To create a then-and-now photograph, select an image of a nearby location via the app. Next, align the image with your current location before taking a photograph to merge the two scenes.
