Wieden+Kennedy, a creatively driven advertising agency, is responsible for the new campaign of Nike: ‘What are girls made of’. In collaboration with MassiveMusic they created the music of ‘What are girls made of’ and ‘This is Us’. The campaign shows that women can be much more than flowers, marmalade and gossip. The video shows a Russian girl in a theatre singing a song about girls made of flowers, gossip and marmalade. Halfway the song, the girl change the tone of the song. Strong female athletes encourage the girl to sing along. The new tone of this song shows that there is one purpose you should never forget: ‘You’re made of what you do. Believe in more’.
