Netflix has shocked Germany by a campaign for the new series Santa Clarita Diet. The campaign consisted of billboards showing a bloody finger that looked like a currywürst. It was also possible to have a taste: foodtrucks were placed in Berlin where people could get this bloody ” finger food” for free. More than 50 complaints have been send to the Werberad, the German ad regulation. The Germans think the campaign is “disgusting” and too scary for children. Netflix was forced to pull the campaign.
